Congratulations to all those who took part in the East Cork Athletics Division Senior 5000m last Wednesday 13th July in MTU.
On a very warm evening we had 20 competitors toeing the line.

We would like to extend out appreciation to Carraig na Bhfear AC for hosting the event and to all the volunteers who helped on the night.
The Senior Women’s race was won by Fiona O’Donoghue (East Cork AC) in a time of 18.03 followed in 2nd by Vicki Spiteri (Midleton AC) in 19.43 and 3rd Niamh O’Connor (East Cork AC) in 20.17.

The Senior Men’s race was won by Frank O’Brien (East Cork AC) in a time of 16.04 followed in 2nd by Tony Forristal (Midleton AC) in 16.47 and 3rd Michael Furlong (East Cork AC) in 17.24.
