Congratulations to all those who took part in the East Cork Athletics Division Senior 5000m on Sunday 23rd July in the Mardyke.
We had 11 people participating in this 5000m track race on a warm and dry Sunday morning

The Senior Women’s race was won by Eadaoin Giltinan (East Cork AC) in a time of 20.44 and the Senior Men’s race was won by James McCarthy (East Cork AC) in a time of 16.21, followed in 2nd place by David Maher (Carraig na bhFear AC) in 17.08 with Peter Howie (Ballymore Cobh AC) following closely behind in 3rd place in 17.09.
