The East Cork Athletics Division Juvenile Track & Field (Day 1) was held in MTU, Cork, on Sunday 10th April 2022. It was great to have all Juvenile Clubs in the Division represented, these are:
Ballymore Cobh AC
Carraig na bhFear AC
Midleton AC
St. Catherines AC
St. Nicholas AC
Watergrasshill AC and
Youghal AC
We would like to thank all those who volunteered their time to assist with the running of the events. It really would not be possible to run these events without your help.
Thank you to all the athletes who participated on the day and to MTU for the use of their fantastic facility.
A special word of thanks goes to event co-ordinator Joan Hough (Midleton AC) for organising a superbly run event. In the sprints, relays and middle distance events we had 75 races in total between heats and finals, and the field events comprised of Long Jump, High Jump, Javelin and Shot Put across the age categories.
Everyone contributed to a wonderful atmosphere and a great day of athletics. Even the weather held up better than expected!
